Common problems our video training courses solve

📹 Don’t have enough time to produce video?

Without set formats in place video production often sucks away vast amounts of time. You can easily fall into the trap of making something different each time. Like any new craft or skill, practice makes perfect so our training teaches you to not only make the best content but to do it in a way that won’t eat up all your time in the long run. Watch your team improve out of sight with our video training courses.

📹 Worried about how you’ll look on camera?

Films can’t function without them, TV shows are incoherent without them. Yet business video often tries to do without them. What are we talking about? Directors!

Learning to become a director is the key to consistently creating the best possible content and bring people to life on camera. Our courses set you up to recognise when someone is struggling to appear natural and arms you with the skills to make them relax and shine.

đź“ą Struggling to produce the amount of video you need?

Producing video can be costly in two ways. The first being that making a bad video could do serious damage to your brand the second is that bringing in outside help to produce the sheer volume of video your audience and business requires is out of reach for many SMEs. Booth Camp video training courses get around both.

đź“ą Not getting results with your current videos?

We’ve found the best results with video are often from the simplest distribution methods. Our clients see results simply posting videos to social channels on a regular basis. This means they offer significantly more value than their competition and all the while helping potential prospects get to know you. Our video training courses teach you the best planning and distribution methods for your chosen channels.

📹  Looking for on going support?

It doesn’t just stop after the initial training.

Our talent management media coaching service is available to ensure your videos keep improving and that they work on your distribution channels as intended. Over time we’ll turn your organisation into a video production powerhouse.

📹 Don’t know where to start?

Production can be confusing! What cameras do you need, how do you set up a studio? Can you use your phone? Booth camp will teach you simple systems to follow to make creating high-quality videos crystal clear.

Booth Camp video training course FAQs

How many people will you train on location?

We’ll train a whole busload if you like, we wouldn’t recommend it though. Ideally, you want to designate 1,2 or 3 members of the team to become media officers who we’ll train up to produce your video. Someone at the company needs to become accountable for your video production in order to make it fast, effective and flippin’ awesome.

What's a media officer?

Good question!! We’re glad you asked. A media officer is the person or persons you appoint as the head of your new video production powerhouse. Someone needs to take charge, educate the team, make creative decisions and empower others to create content your competition will fear. Without one, you’re likely to fizzle out and have a room of production equipment covered in dust.

Can you create bespoke training programmes?

We can and are happy to discuss a solution but we tend to find when the basics aren’t right a bespoke course based on what you think you need might not be the best solution. We’re happy to chat about it though and work out what might work for you.

Which course should I start on?

This will depend on how much experience you have with video. If you’re brand new to it we’d advise you start with the researching and planning course, that way you’ll have a much clearer idea on the style of videos to make to scale up the content you’ll need to distribute and the things you need to have in place before you build your studio set up. Feel free to give us a call and talk to us about your experience and we can advise best.

Can you provide feedback on our content after the course?

We sure can, signing up to our talent management programme will give you access to our locked Facebook community as well as 2 hours a quarter of production, distribution and video coaching where we can analyse your editing, production direction and distribution.

We already have our own kit, is it good enough?

If you have your own cameras, lights, mics etc already then we’d recommend a quick chat first to talk us though what you’ve got. In most cases we can work to get the most out of whatever equipment you may have, even if its just a phone or tablet.

What software and computers will I need?

The best editing software to use is a debate as old as the internet itself. We’re all about making production as efficient as possible for businesses which means if you’re having to spend a lot of time editing then it’s costing you money. That’s why we only train businesses to use Final Cut Pro X. It’s super fast and when you’re editing a batch of videos for your quarters content, you won’t want to spend hours waiting for things to load.

You’ll need a mac, some portable hard drives and Final Cut Pro X (Which has a free trial and you get 2 licenses with it)

Can you buy the kit and set the studio up for us?

We’ve got kit and solutions we’d advise businesses to use and we do provide a studio build and set up solution. It’ll stop you spending houses trying to find the best kit, ordering it in and working out how to put it all together. Get in touch to find out more about this.
